Greeting Card Campaign: 8-6 Gossip Day

Click here to get your Gossip Day Card
"Just what we need!" you say?  Gossip day!  A day to celebrate libelous lips, blabbermouths, rumormongers, tattletales, nosy neighbors, gossip columnists and other pernicious busy-bodies. I say, let's start a lot of totally true rumors today and mess with people's heads.

In the meantime, send your Sweetie a nice little bit of romantic gossip with this Gossip Day greeting card. Just click on the caption below the picture of the office gossips and it will take you to a pdf file in Google Docs. Remember, instead of printing from Google Docs, click on "File" in the upper left corner, then select "Download" and copy the file to your own computer.  Open it with Adobe PDF Reader or whatever PDF reader you use and print the card from there. For some reason Google Docs doesn't handle fonts well, even though they are supposed to be embedded in the PDF document itself so print them from Adobe Reader or some other PDF reader instead.

This is a side fold card, so when it prints be sure to tell your printer it's in "landscape" format so you get the whole file. Flip it on the short side to print double-sided. This will save you a lot of time.  Have fun and enjoy celebrating all things "gossip" today with by sending a scandalous rumor to your best girl or guy.

Greeting Card Campaign: 8-05 Green Pepper Day

Happy Green Pepper Day. It's August 5th and we're celebrating one of my vegetable garden favorites.  I'll admit it, I'm an addict. My favorite green pepper is the sweet Bell pepper. I pick them up in the produce section at the garden, just to smell their spicy green aroma.  People look at me weird.
Get your Green Pepper Day Card here!

So pick a peck of pickled (or unpickled) peppers today and wish your spicy little pepper a happy Green Pepper Day.  Just click on the caption below the picture of the pepper and it will take you to a pdf file in Google Docs.

Have fun and enjoy celebrating with your spicy green pepper today with a nice card from you.

Greeting Card Campaign: 7-14 Bastille Day

Forget to Get a Card for Your Wife?

It was a dark and stormy Mother's Day.  By the time it was over, I had resolved to do much better and tasted my first ever salty berry cobbler. How do you atone for something like that, especially if you are a simple dim-witted male who has trouble some mornings even remembering who he is and why he was born, let alone that this is the anniversary of something.

The secret is advance preparation.  You'll have to approach it as a project.  Get your cards in advance, sort them by date and place notices on your computer to remind you that it's time to send the Bastille Day Card.

Yes, I said "Bastille Day" Card.  I was in that much trouble. For a while I sent her cards on everything from Calvin Coolidge's birthday to St. Swithen's Day.

I am currently working on preserving my printable "get out of trouble" collection of greeting cards for your wife.  I plan to publish it as a printable e-book or possibly a CD.  For now, I can start you off with a handy Bastille Day card available for free on a pdf file.  Just make sure you print the inside of the card upside down with reference to the front side.  The card looks like the pictures above.  You can download these pictures and make your own card (you have my permission) or leave a comment below.  I'll send you the pdf file if you request it.  Hurry though.  Bastille Day's almost over and then it'll be Tapioca Pudding Day or National Cow Appreciation Day (take your pick).
