Greeting Card Campaign: 10-4 Toot Your Own Flute Day

Click here to download your TYOF Day Card.
It's October 4th -- Toot Your Own Flute Day. The point of this whole holiday celebration is to promote the all-rightitude of giving yourself a little pat on the back for a job well done. There's a famous old saying that goes something like this.

"Who tooteth not his own horn, the same shall not be tooted."

Because many people think giving themselves an "Atta-Boy" or an "Atta-Girl" might be a bit egotistical or conceited, someone apparently made up a special day on which self-congratulations are definitely in order.  For some of us, it's the only pat on the back we're likely to get.

Send your girl this Toot Your Own Flute Day card to let her know she needn't bother.  She has her own personal flute tooter in you. Just click on the caption below the picture of the flautist at the top left.  The link will take you to a pdf file in Google Docs. Remember, instead of printing from Google Docs, click on "File" in the upper left corner, then select "Download" and copy the file to your own computer.  Open it with Adobe PDF Reader or whatever PDF reader you use and print the card from there. For some reason Google Docs doesn't handle fonts well, even though they are supposed to be embedded in the PDF document itself.

This is a side fold card, so when it prints, be sure to tell your printer it's in "landscape" format so you get the whole file. Flip it on the short side to print double-sided. Much quicker that way.  And happy tootling to you.
